Wonderful experience working with Ray and HDC Construction Design Co. We replaced our front door, sliding glass door and walkout basement door and installed new decking on our front porch, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished results!

Ray was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was reliable, professional, responsive, and took great pride in his work. His attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear that he wasn’t going to consider the job finished until everything was done right. The quality of his work is excellent, and the transformation of our front porch has made such a difference to the look of our home. We truly appreciated how easy and stress-free Ray made the entire process.

We would highly recommend HDC Construction Design Co. to anyone looking for someone who is dependable, skilled, and genuinely cares about doing quality work. We would absolutely work with Ray again!

Ray is simply wonderful! He does everything he said he would and more! His work is TOP quality. He comes when he says he will. He asks for your thoughts and input along the way. He finished the job even a little sooner than predicted. Ray is a professional contractor and a great person. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work.

A+ contractor! I asked Ray to remove a gas fireplace that was built into the corner of my living room by the previous owner. He was personable and charismatic in person, and very professional in doing the work. He outlined everything he would do, so there were no surprises, and even offered to paint over parts of the wall I hadn't thought about. When he was done it was like the furnace had never been there - the hardwood flooring he added in blended perfectly. I recommend HDC Construction very highly!

Wanting to change my master bedroom & bath was a challenge. A very large open space with little closet space and very little function. Ray came in, took my thoughts on what I'd like to have and he created a plan to give me two closets, a sitting area, an office and a small balcony to enjoy the morning peace. Finally, I have the functional space with the comfort I was struggling to find before.

I can’t say enough about Ray and what he can do!! From designing to installing. He made us feel comfortable with all of his and our decisions. Look at the first picture where there is a door to the Master Bedroom. Ray added cabinet doors to make our new kitchen flow perfectly!! Everything was done with his full attention to detail. Our kitchen came out so perfect that the counter top company asked to photograph it. Will post additional pictures when my daughter in law comes to visit and decorate it!
Thanks again Ray for giving us our perfect kitchen!

Ray was amazing from design to installing! Being in the construction industry for years I wasn’t sure if I could sit back and enjoy the renovation. He made us feel so comfortable with what was going to happen from start to finish that I had NO worries about anything. My kitchen came out so amazing that the counter top company asked to photograph it!!
Highly recommend Ray .

I’ve hired Ray several times now, and every experience has been excellent. He shows up on time, communicates effectively, and always keeps the job site organized. What really sets him apart is how much time he takes to collaborate—he listens, offers helpful suggestions, and makes sure the final result matches exactly what we are looking for. Reliable, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommended. At this point we’ve used him to remodel 2.5 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a fireplace mantel plus some additional items. You’d be hard pressed to find someone more committed to a quality outcome.

Ray was great to work with! Everything was done flawlessly and on the agreed upon schedule. Though we had planned thoroughly in advance, Ray found new opportunities to make things better throughout the project. We are completely Satisfied and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Prior to our contracting with Ray, I chatted with 6 of his past customers for references and visited with our neighbor to view the work Ray performed remodeling his kitchen. The reviews Ray received were glowing and enthusiastic. In all cases, the quality of his work was judged superb and in most cases he was hired to perform services on multiple additional projects. Based on those critiques, we contracted with Ray to replace our home's windows and skylights. With Ray's guidance, we traveled the journey of window manufacturer selection, models options, etc. His experience and expertise were obvious and impressive. He provided several proposals to us based on the windows options we were considering and included timetables, installation practices etc.

We could not have been more pleased with the outcome of Ray's work. His knowledge, professionalism, experience and attention to detail are impressive and to top it off, he is also a pleasure to visit with. Based on the above, we asked Ray just yesterday to present us with materials options and proposals for remodeling our two bathrooms, kitchen counter and entry foyer. We are confident to recommend Ray and his HDC team for quality home improvement contracting.
